Education:

Mykola Mykolayovych graduated from the National Aviation University. He has  received a university degree  in three specialties : in 2005 – the Faculty of Aerospace and Law in the specialty “Law”, in 2006 – the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications in the specialty “Aviation and Faculty of Electronics” specialty “Finance”. He did not stop, and in 2013 received his PhD in Law (PhD). He is currently pursuing her MBA from the Edinburgh School of Business at Geriot-Watt University (UK).

Recognition:

In October 2021, he was named “Lawyer of the Year” in the category of corporate law, “Association of Lawyers of Ukraine”. “TOP-100. Market Leaders 2021”, “Yurydychna Gazeta” is another new recognition of Mykola Mykolayovych Kovalchuk in the field of sports law and confirmation of his professionalism in debt restructuring with the same name of the nomination.

“A Handbook for Foreign Clients 2021” noted Mykola Kovalchuk among prominent lawyers in bankruptcy and litigation practice.

Mykola Kovalchuk was declared the best in the “Trial” nomination by the foreign rating “The Best Lawyers 2022”.

According to the results of the professional research of the publication “Yurydychna Gazeta” – “Market Leaders. Client’s Choice 2020”, he was included in the TOP-100 lawyers of Ukraine of the best specialists in the fields of bankruptcy and debt restructuring. Awarded by the international rating agency The Best Lawyers 2020 in the category “Judicial Practice”. According to the Legal Awards 2020, he was named “Best Lawyer of the Year in Bankruptcy”. According to Legal Awards 2020 distinguished among the best bankruptcy lawyers and the best court lawyers.

Other:

Despite the busy schedule in “L.I. Group “ М.М. Kovalchuk finds time for social and political activities. In particular, he is the co-founder of the NGO All-Ukrainian Association “Legal Initiative”. Mykola Kovalchuk is a big supporter of sports and, personally, devotes time to regular boxing and swimming classes, and since 2016 he has been actively involved in sports law as well.
